Shelby Sp360 Supercharged Dodge Durango. They only made a couple hundred of these things, every single one of them being absolutely outrageous. I wish they did something like this still today, because, ya know, Murica. Link if anyone’s interested... It looks to be pretty well preserved, and the rear bucket seats it has make me wonder just how well this thing could have possibly ever handled to require their being installed... I think it’s very cool, and I would totally add it to my “collection” were I to ever have one, with infinite space and money to spend. I think it probably could have done with some handling upgrades, more towards the “cobraneer” that the SVT boys cooked up in the late 90’s, or the Lightening Expedition from the early ‘00’s, although I’m not sure how handling oriented that Lightening Expedition would have been...

A friend of mine leased an SP360 brand new. That thing was downright frightening. The seats were hard as a rock but had good bolstering, handling was fair at best but it sounded sooooo good.

The prototype most likely exists, but who knows what they’ll actually give us. Still waiting on that Grand Cherokee Trackhawk.

Buy a SVT lightning and a Expedition. Swap the engines and front end and sell the Lightning with the expedition engine and front for profit :P

I remember reading about that SVT Expedition when I was like 12. I wanted it. I also had a poster of that Shelby Durango. Can’t remember where I got it from. For some reason I don’t think any of the Big 3 would do anything like these today. I’m surprised the Grand Cherokee SRT-8 is still around.
